Mitrol is developing an innovative portable device designed to communicate directly with the PLC/CNC via a dedicated protocol based on an Ethernet interface.
The technological heart of the device is a Mitrol-designed and manufactured board, housed in an ergonomic case also developed in-house. This case integrates a keypad and a color LCD display, which replicates some of the information present on the main HMI, ensuring immediate access to essential data.
The system allows operators to control the machine from remote locations with respect to the CNC HMI, offering greater operational flexibility, particularly useful during operations such as tool changes or installation phases. The device can replicate most of the commands present on the PLC keypad, ensuring precise, intuitive, and complete control.
Safety is a top priority, guaranteed by the integration of:
Emergency button, which allows operations to be stopped immediately if necessary.
Deadman system, designed to maintain active control only when the operator is present and in safe conditions.
This solution represents a significant advancement in the remote control of industrial machinery, combining ergonomics, efficiency, and the highest safety standards.
